Dress in CAMEL

Beige or neutral tone. No matter how you call this shade, but definitely it’s a major trend the whole of 2019. Personally, the first thing that I associate camel is Max Mara coat. Also good suit with wide trousers. This shade is a color that resembles the color of the hair of a camel. The first recorded use as a color name in English was in 1916. It is the color of a specific type of overcoat known as a polo coat or camel-hair coat. In a 1951 Collier’s magazine fashion article, it is said camel colored polo coats are proper to wear in the summer, in the country and in the U.S. South, but navy blue overcoats are proper to wear in the city and in autumn, winter and spring. Many consider colors like navy, olive and camel to also fall into the neutral category. They usually make good colors to wear on the bottom, in tailored pieces and outerwear

Personally, the first thing that I associate camel is Max Mara coat.

ph: Max Mara Long, double-breasted coat in camel and cashmere double fabric with lapel collar and slanted welt pockets. Straight cut and semi lined. Button fastening.

Launched at the end of wartime in 1919, the camel coat, as designed by Jaeger, put London on the fashion map as Paris and its style industry took time to recover from the devastating effects of the First World War. 20 years later with the outbreak of a Second War in Europe the camel coat once again returned to prominence. Traditional fabrics such as silk, leather and wool were found to be in short supply as each material was needed for objects necessary to the war effort, but camel hair proved itself to still be very much available.

Fashion Suggestions

From the most formal combinations to trendy, this shade is appropriate. As I already mentioned, my favorite suit combination is always a fashion hit. Also trendy turtlenecks in combination with jeans or wide pants. I think the best colors for the combination are white, black and gray.
