The first day of men’s fashion week was all about men’s haute couture. Philipp Plein presented the latest collection of his brand Billionaire. That was also the day I met him in person. The bar of the Hotel Principe di Savoia was a location where we could watch the latest collection. As a great hotel too, hosted us with a great after party as well. The big B sweater you’ll see below is a favorite of mine that I would honestly wear too.
This season’s collection encapsulates the spirit of a modern dandy, seamlessly blending soft neutral colour palettes with intense dark and mysterious colours, ranging from soft beige to chocolate brown and grey.
For the first time at BILLIONAIRE, alongside seventeen menswear looks, the brand debuts four womenswear looks, completing the season through a unique versatility and dedication to ensuring that luxury is a lifestyle. Inspired by the jet-setting lifestyle of a man who relishes in the pleasures of global travel, the Billionaire Fall Collection paints a vivid picture of a life lived in luxury. Whether strolling through the enchanting kibbutz in Marrakesh, admiring the breathtaking skyline of London, sipping coffee in Ipanema, Rio, or cruising from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, this collection mirrors the experiences of a man who cherishes the finer things in life.
In this collection, luxury becomes a lifestyle, where the must-have camel coat seamlessly intertwines with tailored suits, creating an ensemble that reflects both sophistication and adventure. The optical jacquard 3D weaves a tapestry of intricate patterns, bringing a modern twist to classic designs. A highlight of the collection is the signature knitwear turtleneck jumper, a notable iconic piece from BILLIONAIRE that enhances the blend of comfort and luxury, paired with loose-fitting trousers, the ensemble creates an opulent, signature silhouette.
