Blush, one of the most used and wanted makeup product. Also, a product that is one of the first best sellers. It is that one makeup product we use to color the cheeks in varying shades. You can become rosy with a little help of some products. It can be applied as powder or cream. Few swipes of blush can make your makeup look (or natural look) to look healthier and youthful. Don’t confuse this term with a highlighter or bronzer, these are completely different products. But, it can be also complicated to use blush, if you don’t know how. HOW BEST TO USE BLUSH

FAMOUS “C” SHAPE: When it comes to applying blush in a right way, it is always important to follow a familiar rule to all of us, the famous “c” shape. Shape from the top of the temple down to the cheekbone. Best tip is to use more product along the cheekbone, then diffuse it up towards the temple, pushing it in and upwards, and don’t go overboard with your application.

ALWAYS APPLY ACCORDING TO YOUR FACE SHAPE: Face shape is the most important thing when it comes to using blush. Applying incorrectly, always has a negative and opposite effect. Blush accent your face, and you need to take your bone structure into account before applying it. There are different types of face, and we should all follow that: oblong face, heart-shaped face, round face, square face, oval face.

NEVER FORGET BLUSH WHEN CONTOURING: If you prefer contouring in makeup, then contouring with blush must be your routine. The best way to carve cheekbones and jawlines is exactly this way, but don’t forget to add blush at the end of this routine, otherwise, the effect is not the same.

BLEND: To be good blended, it is so important, because just applying in the right area is not a full process. Use a sponge or a stiff brush. Remember that you need a natural look at the end of the process.

USE SHEER FOUNDATION FOR “MITIGATION”: If at some point you overdo it with blush, don’t use immediately a makeup remover.

USE LIQUID BLUSH FOR NATURAL LOOK: People who prefer a more natural look, and at a same time a bit of color, but don’t like powder brush, this is a perfect choice. Remember, it can also be used for other types of makeup, such as the famous “wet” look.
